BSNL Senior Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the BSNL Senior Executive Trainee (SET) Recruitment 2026 for the direct recruitment of executive-level officers in the Telecom and Finance streams from external candidates. A total of 120 vacancies (95 for Telecom and 25 for Finance) have been notified for the post of Senior Executive Trainee in the E-3 IDA pay scale (₹24,900–₹50,500) (pre-revised).
The online registration process for this recruitment will commence on 5 February 2026 (10:00 hrs) and will close on 3 March 2026 (10:00 hrs). Candidates are required to submit their applications through the official BSNL website within the prescribed dates.

Pay Scale for BSNL Senior Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026
Selected candidates will be appointed as senior executive trainees (SET) in the IDA Pay Scale E-3 (₹24,900–₹50,500) (pre-revised) SET Notification.
During the probation period, SETs will be designated as Executive (E-3 scale) and, upon successful completion, may be considered for promotion to AGM as per the rules of the SET Notification.
Service Bond and Training
- Selected candidates must execute a bond of ₹5 lakh to serve BSNL for a minimum of 5 years (SET Notification).
- Training Period: 1 year (including classroom training and field training).
- Probation Period: 1 year SET Notification.

- Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per notification:

Educational Qualification
For Telecom Stream
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or equivalent in any of the following disciplines:
- Electronics
- Telecommunications
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Electrical
- Instrumentation
Or a combination of the above disciplines as core with associated branches of SET Notification.
For Finance Stream
- Chartered Accountant (CA), or
- Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) SET Notification.
Candidates must have completed the qualification by the closing date of the application
Selection Process
The selection will be made through:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of:
- Part-I (Common): Aptitude (40 Questions, 40 Marks)
- Part-II (Technical/Core): 160 Questions, 160 Marks
- Total: 200 Questions, 200 Marks
- Duration: 180 Minutes SET Notification
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. SET Notification.
- Qualifying Marks:
- General: 50%
- SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD/EWS: 45% SET Notification.
Final merit will be prepared based on the total marks obtained in both parts.
