The wife of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins felt ready to share her thoughts about the loss of her husband, two-

and-a-half months after his passing. Alison Hawkins opened up on the musician’s Instagram page to thank his fans for

the outpouring of love and support from his friends and family since the 57-year-old rocker passed away on Sept.

15, while also giving an update on their four children. Taylor Hawkins died on September 15 from a brain hemorrhage

that he suffered in July 2018. He was 60 years old at his time of death. Hawkins, drummer for The Foo Fighters and

one-time drummer for Alanis Morissette, passed away just three days after Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl posted

a note about his best friend’s condition on social media. Our dear friend Taylor Hawkins (Drums, Foo Fighters)

underwent a procedure but we are hopeful that it was successful and pray for Taylor’s recovery, Dave wrote at the

time. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers during this challenging time. Hawkins grew up in England before moving

to Canada with his family when he was 14 years old. He went on to attend Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario
