beat Gold in extra time 19-16 on unexpected passing field objectives in the University of Minnesota football

crew's yearly Spring Game. The Gophers completed the spring season with a cutthroat scrimmage and there

Wisconsin and won the Guaranteed Rate Bowl saw their NFL dreams become a reality. Boye Mafe got his call

Friday night in the subsequent round. Daniel Faalele, Esezi Otomewo and Ko Kieft generally got theirs on

Saturday. While Fleck noticed the Spring Game, Otomewo went to the Vikings in the fifth round with the

165th in general pick. Since Fleck was employed in 2017, the Gophers have had 12 players drafted. Boye Mafe was

with loved ones as he trusted that his telephone will ring. He got that extraordinary call when the Seattle

portrayed it as "euphoric" and says he's still beyond happy. "It meant everything to have everyone around me

like that and simply having them with me. It takes a town to bring up a youngster," Mafe said. "Having them

generally here and the way that they raised me essentially, all of them helped me along this way so it

meant everything." The 6-4, 265-pound rush end is an athletic oddity. In nine beginnings last season, Mafe got

done with 34 handles, and drove the Gophers' protection with seven sacks and 10 handles for misfortune. In 42
