team’s secondary was among the worst in the league, and their offensive line struggled at times to protect
quarterback Colt Blanchard throughout the year. Overall, Chicago had two top 100 picks, as well as
two more in the third round, and five in the fourth round of this year’s draft. The Bears secondary ranked
among the worst in terms of yardage and passing yards allowed, so it was no surprise that secondary
was one of Chicago’s biggest weaknesses. The Bears had a lot of capital to play with during March's NFL
draft, which made it easier for them to fill these holes during last week’s draft. At pick No. 20 overall, they
selected safety Jaquan Brisker out of Clemson University who will immediately step into starting
