practical. I wanted to be around birthing women and pregnant women, Seyfried said in an interview with the magazine published

Wednesday. And I knew that wasn't going to happen if I was directing, writing and starring in my own film. When she was just 20

years old, Amanda Seyfried thought that childbirth was amazing and wanted to become a doula. The 36-year-old actress said in a cover 

story for Marie Claire's Beauty Changemakers Issue that she trained to become a doula at a holistic health center after realizing she

didn’t want to work as an actress anymore. She told Marie Claire magazine: That same year, I realized I didn't want to act anymore. 

 I don't know if you've ever seen Mean Girls, Amanda explained. But there's a part where Regina [George] is telling Cady [Holland Roden]

how they used to call her Reginablue when she was in middle school because of her hair color. So then Cady says, 'Oh yeah? Well what

about Amanda Seyfried?' And Regina says, 'Who?' And Cady goes, 'You know, from Mamma Mia!' And then Regina looks at her like she
