Eligibility Criteria of Saksham Yuva Yojana
Housing:
- For applying in this scheme, the applicant must be a permanent resident of Haryana.
Employment Status:
- The applicant should not be engaged in any government or private job.
- This scheme is only for unemployed people.
- Registration in the employment exchange is mandatory.
Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed 10+2, graduation, or post-graduation. Only then can you apply.
Age Limit:
- If 10+2 is passed, then the age should be between 18 and 35 years.
- If graduation or post-graduation, then the age should be between 21 and 35 years.
Income Criteria:
- This scheme was started to help low-income families.
- So only those families whose income is less than 3 lakh per year are eligible to apply.
Benefits of Saksham Yuva Yojana
Unemployment Allowance:
- A monthly amount is given to unemployed youth.
- But this amount is not the same for everyone. It depends on the qualification.

- The assistance of this scheme is given through DBT or direct bank transfer into the beneficiary account.
Work Requirement:
- Under this scheme, youth are given government work. Around 100 hours per month of work is given, for which they earn.
