Benefits of this Scheme
Financial Help
- Poor families are given up to around ₹1 lakh so that they can run a business and manage their daily life on their own.
Help for Women
- Around ₹15,000 is given only to women so that they can use this money to do something. This help is provided through Self-Help Groups.
Financial Gift
- Those who can come out of poverty by taking all this support are again given a gift of up to ₹21,000.
Skill Training
- Not only money, but also different kinds of skills are taught under this scheme so that they can use these skills to earn money.
Educational Support
- These families are also helped with their children’s education.
Healthcare Support
- If they need any kind of medical help, that is also provided.
Overall Support
- Good roads are built in villages so that communication improves.
- Better infrastructure is developed so that the overall development of the village happens.

- Must belong to a BPL family. According to the 2002 data, the family’s name must be in the list.
