Mukhyamantri Alpsankhyak Udyami Yojana: On September 25, 2024, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar started the Mukhyamantri Alpasankhyak Udyami Yojana. This programme helps women and minority youth in Bihar who are out of work build their own enterprises by giving them money. The government will provide each new business up to 10 lakh rupees under this plan.
DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) will send money straight to the bank account of the person who benefits. It wants to help business owners and lower the unemployment rate among minorities. Only unemployed men and women of colour who want to establish new businesses will be able to apply.
Purpose of the Mukhyamantri Alpsankhyak Udyami Yojana
Bihar’s Chief Minister for the Minority Entrepreneur Scheme Goal: This program’s goal is to boost the industrial sector and help unemployed minority men and women find work by giving them loans of up to 10 lakh rupees. There is also a grant of 5 lakh rupees. This help lets young people from minority groups start their own businesses without worrying about money and raise their standard of living. The business unit must be a proprietorship or a partnership firm.
Age must be between 18 and 50 years.

The amount is divided into two parts-
50% is given as a non-refundable grant.
