dua for morning wake up

The Prophet (p) taught us that once we hear something from the sky, that is already a messenger and we need to follow it. This is the first person (mufti) who will follow it. Therefore, don’t waste your time on what is already known. Take the opportunity to serve and worship Allah, your Creator (God) and great Glorified (Preceptor).

Contentment, Kindness, Humility

We can follow the Holy Prophet (p) by being people of peace, simplicity, kindness, humility, and pity. May God protect us from any evil intention and reward us with His pleasure.

Among the most outstanding characteristics of this blessed Prophet (p) was that he was a man of simple living and quality living. Thus, he does not like a person to be in awe of his wealth and then indulges in the sin of hoarding, looting, and lust. These are bad character traits. He wanted us to be humble and feared by others and not arrogant.

Imran Sahib

Religion is simply a tool of governance and every person should use it following its rules. Being sincere and sincere with God requires following what He had ordered in the Holy Quran. So, if he is following the commands of God, it implies that he is following the one most deserving to be worshiped: the Prophet (p) and that he is obeying the commands of God as laid down by the Holy Quran.

dua for waking up early

While it is the primary duty of every Muslim to uphold the Quran, an individual can only control his actions and attributes. It is a sin to manipulate an individual’s actions through coercion or violence. So, individuals should not allow their actions to be manipulated by those outside the religion.

An individual should learn how to turn to Allah in troubled times and seek His mercy and forgiveness. However, he should not rely on others. God’s mercy and forgiveness are given to the righteous only. An individual is bound to fulfill his duties and fulfill his responsibilities. He will receive his reward or punishment from Allah as He deems fit and His punishment is decided beforehand.

The curse of the messenger is much worse than that of a person. Therefore, one should only follow the Holy Prophet (p) by being kind to others and being sincere with God. His life was a source of inspiration for millions of people, which is why Muslims are called followers of his actions and not his work. It is a great blessing for every Muslim to be a follower of the Prophet (p).

Aslam saw him and called to him, saying, “O Allah’s Apostle! (O Allah’s Apostle!) Have you gone out? Why didn’t you wake me?” The Prophet said, “No, I didn’t go out. I have been laying in my grave the whole night” (Ibn Aslam said that) and then slept. Thereafter he got up and said, "O Allah's Apostle! I have made a mistake. Had I entered the mosque, I should have then asked forAslam.”

Ansari further narrated that the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam) said, "When he sees me and then fell asleep he should have said,Allah knows best and He will not mislead you in anything. You are invited to enter the mosque by my permission.'”

The second dua

Oh my Lord! make clear to me the meanings of the duas: (i) a night of mental effort; (ii) uncertain dawn; and (iii) an uncertain day.

There are two meanings to these duas, and one is a night while the other is an uncertain day, and the other dua is a specific meaning. Here’s how to understand these meanings:

(1) Duas to say after Fajr

Quran (6:145)

dua for waking up in the middle of the night

And We sent down (the Book) before us, and We made Our Book as light as the moon and as clear as the sun, and we made it for us, and We made it for a man so that he should be able to learn well from it.

It is not known when the Sun shines, even though it does shine, for man lacks knowledge; thus he gets confused. It is not known when it shines because it is cloudy or because it is eclipsed or because it is cloudy and the nighttime makes it cloudy, or even it shines and it is cloudy for some time, but all these reasons will not affect the Hadith meaning of the above Hadith.

So let’s read this Hadith:

“And We sent down the Book before Us, and We made Our Book as light as the moon and as clear as the sun, and We made it for a man so that he should be able to learn well from it.”

In other words, the man knows and we made it for him so that he could read it to know. But the man only learns after the sun comes out, therefore if it is cloudy we get confused. So the Hadith says that it is only after the sun is out that man learns.

So the Sun was sent down, this is clear, and it shines and illuminates and makes it clear. And man needs it to read the books, but if the sun is not out, man needs it to read the books.

dua before and after sleeping

The Sun is said to shine during the night and during the day, we know about the night, but we don’t know about the day, so the Sun’s light also needs to be understood in context to these two days.

Morning Dua Quotes & Inspirations

How to practice morning dua? Well, there are several easy and quick ways to do so, but it’s hard to be practicing dua if you don’t have your Quran handy.

So I got thinking and stumbled upon an easy way to practice it, if not all day, at least for an hour.

The question is do you listen to your heart, or is your mind smarter than yours?

~Wisdom is the precursor to action, not the reverse. ~Raise your heart high. Do you want your heart to be exalted? ~, Whatever happens, is Allah’s Will. Listen to your heart and act upon it. If your heart feels good, then you know that it is right, if not, you know that it is wrong.

Everything that is of Allah is profitable to you; if Allah would reward you with it, you will not be ungrateful. Say, “As-salaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh!” Say, “I bear witness that there is no god but Allah.” Say, “I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

dua before sleeping and waking up

It is permissible for a person to make du’a for the best friend, a father, a mother, or anyone else that he loves. The believer may also make du’a for Allah to allow him to see his Lord, to grant him success, and to give him good health and longevity. Admittedly, this is a little bit early in the morning, so I suppose not everyone is up yet, but it’s always nice to pray for the best for those you love. (Source)

Mustafa Shakir said it best –

Dua is powerful, and it’s always a pleasure to recite. It’s also good to recite dua for friends and family members and for causes you believe in. And do not limit dua to any particular time in the day; often, it seems that the best dua comes when you are least inclined to give it. ~Timothy Fadek

If you have a minute, try it out today –

~Praying for good for your family and friends. ~Praying for good health for you and your family. ~For Allah to guide you to His true way of life, and for a soulmate, if it is His Will. ~To help someone else and thus save them from evil.

~Whether you’re going for a run, or taking the train, start doing dua and chant your full name five times (something that will get you motivated enough to continue to do it!)

~To perform Tawaf in Mecca. ~A good deed.
~To have the best day of your life.
~To meet Allah and make a pilgrimage to Al-Makkah.
~To travel to Saudi Arabia.

morning dua in english translation

And in case you’re wondering, are you up to reading some Shaykh’s morning dua daily? I hope so, if not this one – The following dua was given by one of the wise Shaykhs of our times – Sheikh Zaid Hamid and includes the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him):

~Dear Lord, you are most generous, merciful, and compassionate to us. You are our Father and a Merciful One. Surely, Allah loves to give us what is good and His portion is to hear our supplication. As for your servant, may Allah have mercy on him, I am not familiar with you, and I am not worthy of anything from you.

But I know that you are the Most Merciful of those upon whom you have bestowed Mercy. So, for your sake and in my distress, I supplicate, I beg you, please accept me. Because of my poverty and needs, you have provided for me a small portion, a little of this and a little of that. It is enough to give me so much, a smile and a kiss, and a little food that you have given me. However, I ask You in my distress to help me and guide me in this regard.

I want to give you this word from the Lord – Verily, Allah is not like the heaven for them which ask Him for Light. [65] I am also supplicating You as I used to be. You are pleased with me for the blessed signs which you have sent me.

Dua Quotes: The Talents You Need to Succeed in Life

It’s nearly impossible to avoid encountering positive words of encouragement in our daily lives. People we encounter in our everyday lives—from the checkout lady at the grocery store to the cashier at the gym to the stranger driving past us—are often as positive as they are helpful.

And it’s no surprise that mental health experts have been reporting the increasing occurrence of anxiety, depression, and stress in today’s young adults. The ability to attract positive thoughts can be a real asset.
