IOCL Recruitment 2026: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has officially released the Apprentice Engagement Notification 2026 for its Mathura Refinery. A total of 108 tentative vacancies are available across various technical and non-technical trades and disciplines.

Vacancy Details for IOCL Recruitment 2026
The engagement is for the following trades and disciplines:
- Trade Apprentice (Fitter-Mechanical)—19 seats (12 months of training)
- Trade Apprentice (Boiler – Mechanical) – 22 seats (24 months training)
- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical) – 23 seats (12 months training)
- Technician Apprentice (Electrical) – 20 seats (12 months training)
- Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation) – 23 seats (12 months training)
- Trade Apprentice (Accountant) – 1 seat (12 months training)
Reservations for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS, and PwBD candidates will be provided as per government rules.
IOCL Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Fitter: Matric with ITI (fitter trade, minimum 2 years).
- Boiler: B.Sc. with Maths, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry.
- Technician (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation): 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering branch.
- Accountant: B.Com degree.
A minimum of 50% marks is required for General/EWS candidates and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD (for reserved seats). Only regular full-time courses are accepted.
Candidates with higher qualifications, such as B.E./B.Tech., MBA/CA, etc., are not eligible. Those who completed the qualification more than 5 years ago are not eligible.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 24 years as on 31.01.2026
Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD as per rules.
IOCL Recruitment 2026: Selection Procedure
There will be no written test. Selection will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the required qualification. A merit list will be prepared in descending order of marks.
In case of a tie, older candidates will be given preference. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. Final selection will be subject to medical fitness as per IOCL standards.
