When I was asked what Dua for Shifa in Quran means to me, the first thing I thought of was the story of Prophet Muhammad’s wife Aisha. In the household of ‘Uthman, she was one of the most beloved and adored women. She was known for her piety and ability to pray and fast with her full devotion to Allah.
However, one day she met a man who swept her off her feet and changed her way of life. I am sure if the story we’re told in our modern times we would see something very different. Dua for Shifa in Quran. A young man who has everything to offer her. Who knows she is already married. She loves him, he loves her. It feels right.
However, something is not right. They are married. She should be listening to the shahada or committing to Islam. Instead, she goes off with him leaving her husband and his family feeling distraught and broken. This leads to the most talked-about episode in the life of Aisha, “Wife of Muhammad” or the infamous “Fiqh of Aisha”.

It was wrong for her to have gone off with him but even more worrying is that in Aisha’s mind she knew it was wrong. She wanted to ask Uthman, ‘Why am I not listening to the shahada? Why am I still with my husband when he is asking me to leave him and follow him?’ Yet she was too scared to ask.
She was ashamed. She was afraid to ask, he might have been offended. She would have been divorced and her whole life destroyed. At that moment, in what we would now call a sexual attack, what did she do? She allowed herself to be destroyed. She says in many recorded instances:
The opposite of disobedience is obedience.
She took her perfect Halaqah (body, soul, and intellect) and gave it to another human being. I wonder what would have happened if she had been brave enough to do what the Prophet told her to do.
Dua for Shifa in Quran
Isn’t Dua a part of every Muslim’s faith? The Quran contains the following words:
وَأَنْتَ يَكْتُمُ الْأَرْضَ
(O you who believe, when you pray to say:
“O, my Lord! To You We all bow down, O Lord of all creations”)
In the context of Sahih Ibn Sa’d (58:21),
(In the Qur’an, it is written “This is a Book which will bring You close to Your Lord, and that every answer is given from Your Book.”)
(O you who believe, do not abandon prayer, because without prayer neither does Paradise come into being nor hell.)
So isn’t it a part of our beliefs? All the Muslims are asked to say Surah for shaheeds and to praise Allah by the recitation of these 25 Salaf (Seal of the Prophets)
So we can see from the above data that Dua of Quran is in the Quran and it is even mentioned in Sahih Ibn Sa’d. And from the following text, it is clear that Prophet Muhammad said that dua can be made on any basis and from any holy book.
He said: “The last word which Allah, the Exalted, says to the prophets in His Messenger of the qibla is ‘O you who believe!’ I say: This is the Last Word from My Lord, and He also says, ‘If you love Me, then I have no partner for you.’ Whoever says this Dua in the shade of the Ka’bah and supplicates for this through his brothers, I will recite that on his behalf, and I will do this until he leaves this world.
Whoever prays five obligatory Salaf after I had died, I shall do so for him. Whoever prays for me ten times in my grave, I shall also do so for him. Whoever prays for me twenty times in my grave, I shall also do so for him.
Whoever prays twenty times in my grave and praises me ten times in my grave, I shall also do so for him. Whoever prays twenty times in my grave and praises me twenty times in my grave, I shall also do so for him. Whoever prays twenty times in my grave and praises me twenty times in my grave, I shall also do so for him. Whoever prays twenty times in my grave and praises me twenty times in my grave, I shall also do so for him.
Whoever prays twenty times in my grave and praises me twenty times in my grave, I shall also do so for him. Whoever prays twenty times in my grave and praises me twenty times in my grave, I shall also do so for him. Whoever prays for me twenty times in my grave, I shall also do so for him. Whoever prays for me twenty times in my grave, I shall also do so for him. Whoever prays for me twenty times in my grave
what is Dua for Shifa from pain?
What is pain from? it is a physical need to hold something I would like to move and to feel it move … what is that something you ask?
I am his … he can hurt me and it is pain and to hold it inside is torture … but he can’t …
I can’t push it away and I can’t cry it out and I can’t tell him it hurts …
I am his …
I have no wish to be anyone but this … my skin is his and I am his and I want to get in his skin and feel his skin … in that gesture of love … pain … passion … need and desire … when I whisper in his ear and I get the response of arousal and yearning and he makes me beg for it …
I need that pain.
I don’t want pain from him … his touch so soft it is like the whisper of love … then he smiles and says it’s so pretty and when I smile and whisper the word bitch you hurt … I still want that pain to me …
- Just the touch of his hand.
- When I have my hands on him.
- His teeth on my body.
Saying what he wants and I can see the hunger in his eyes and he whispers to me love it hurts … the feeling of his hands on me so rough like the smack of his hands to my body I need that.
Islamic way to cure fever.
With the aid of the book, Muhammad said: So the fever vanished from her. And when the angel moved away, Makka and its people Inch-by-inch came into view. Although there was no light The people of Makka looked upon it “Each and everything is a witness.” “And if you bear witness to anything, The oneness of Allah is aware.” “Islam is not established By waiving a piece of paper.
“…the body in three parts. If you are having doubts about it, Know that the feet Have never been given out of Allah’s pleasure. “Those who believe in Allah and are firm The heaven, the earth, the heaven, And the earth’s plants shall incline To worship them as they do. Those who believe in Allah Will be made angels Wondering forever what the unseen And what the unseen have For him.
“And if your disputes Are touching the issue of the ground And for or against a stone, Look there and you will know about it. “If you know about it, you will know about the body, And about it, you will know about the heavens. “For those whom Allah wills for good, Those whom Allah wills for evil, He will also cause them to be made angels To worship them as they do.” “Sana, I said unto you. Whoever owns a slave And worships Allah without end He has more value than every Inhabitant of Makka and its inhabitants.”
Muhammad related to us hisHadith concerning Belief in Allah & Muhammad
When the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) came to Khurasan (in modern-day Afghanistan) he passed through a place called Mi’raj (the journey). The people asked about the destination of the Apostle of Allah. He said: “I do not know but Allah knows it”.Muhammad said: “In the first place, to recognize that Allah is (all) and we are (none) in this world is to believe in him. So whoever believes in him and does not wish to die, Allah will grant him longevity.
It is he who is near to his Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) who is the most deserving of what he has to give. The devout men are the ones who spend their time with Allah, insha’Allah (he will certainly do so).
“1-11The Hadith of the woman who came to Muhammed(PBUH) with a fever. I remember back in the day I often used to wonder why some of the people here seem to have a greater craving to see this man dead before he is even a hundred years old, yet when they come to see a poor man who is “beyond begging” then they are the first to beg him for help.
That is the difference between Islam and Christianity, people in the west can hardly put two words together without making themselves sound like a fussy know it, whilst in the Arab world, they can sometimes teach us much.
In this Hadith, it tells us that someone who comes to a person with a fever will need a lot of help. It was a man that Muhammad(PBUH) cured of a fever that had turned into an iron fever, Muhammad (PBUH) tells us that he had severe pains in his joints and his head. A man who has a fever can have “bleeding in his urine”.
He could have also have suffered in the areas where the skin is breached; hence there could have been a loss of blood. He also had a fever in his joints. He was advised to fast, eat dates, and drink water.
Those were the only things he was told to eat. It was almost evening, the man had been given much medicine and they had a small water vessel that was brought for him to drink. He refused to drink it as he felt that it had iron in it. His mother and sister tried to force him to drink it but he resisted. He eventually did, to his relief, as the pain disappeared.
He was given a sheep to bring home. The entire night his mother and sister spent by his side, trying to find a cure. The next morning his mother came to him and told him “I fear that my son has died”. The Prophet(PBUH) told her “Do not believe that. Do not be sad. I am alive and strong and will be resurrected as you are, on the Day of Resurrection”.
Now the interesting thing is that the man who was afflicted with iron fever died the next morning. He had to fast and was thirsty all night. Muhammad(PBUH) died 4 years before that incident took place. As for the lady who came with a fever, who saved Muhammad’s life, she had a fever of iron.
I wonder why the people here are much more eager to see Muhammad(PBUH) dead when he was alive and only more eager to see a poor beggar (beggar who does not live on bread and water) begging on the streets. They should be more eager to help the poor and the needy, not more eager to see someone go on a journey to find Allah or make a pilgrimage to Mecca.
