Central University of Odisha Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a master’s degree in library and information science (MLIS) or an equivalent degree from a recognised university or institute. They should have secured first class and maintained a consistently good academic record.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of computers and digital tools used in libraries
- Understanding of IT applications in library work
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi
Nature of Work
The selected candidates will learn and work in different areas of the university library. They are expected to work six days a week. If required, they may also have to work in shifts.
Contractual employees are permitted to take one paid leave per month during the engagement period. Unused leave expires, and leave encashment is prohibited.
Selection Procedure for Central University of Odisha Recruitment 2026
The selection will be done through a walk-in interview. However, the university may conduct a written test if needed. It may also fix certain criteria to shortlist candidates if the number of applicants is large.
