Blac Chyna’s Divorce Court Documents Reveal Details of Her Child Support Deals with Rob Kardashian and Tyga. Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian may be fighting over what to name their newborn daughter, but there’s one thing the two former lovers can agree on — how much each of them should pay in child support for the five children they share.
Chyna and her lawyers filed legal documents Tuesday in response to Kardashian’s request that she pay him $20,000 per month, including nearly $3,000 per month in child support payments as well as thousands more in other expenses related to their children together.
Blac Chyna
A recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians gave fans a glimpse into just how involved Blac Chyna is in her children’s lives — and now, even though she no longer shares custody with ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian, a judge has ordered that he continue to financially support his oldest daughter Dream.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, all three kids are covered under two separate child support agreements signed by Chyna in 2017. Chyna also has an agreement with rapper Tyga, who fathered their son King Cairo with her in 2016. Under both deals, Khloe Kardashian’s little brother pays $20k per month for each kid and will have them every other weekend starting at 6 p.m. on Fridays until Sunday at 6 p.m.
In addition to their primary residence in Calabasas, California, which was purchased by Chyna in 2014 for $2.6 million, they share a house in Tarzana worth more than $3 million as well as several cars including a Range Rover Sport and Mercedes G Wagon. As part of her divorce from Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna got $1 million cash from him in January 2018 plus another $15k per month for spousal support.
Rob Kardashian
Contrary to popular belief, Kardashian isn’t in a bad place financially. According to court documents obtained by ET, he earns between $6,000 and $8,000 per month from his appearance on Keeping Up With The Kardashians alone. He also makes about $5,000 for each social media post endorsing a product or business.
Kardashian’s biggest sources of income come from royalties for sales related to his mobile game Rob Kardashian: Hollywood, at least one upcoming book deal, and most recently, a clothing line that he announced earlier in January 2019. As part of his clothing line deal with online retailer Rokit, Kardashian will make between $100,000-$150,000 per year just on royalties alone.
For all these reasons, Kardashian doesn’t need child support. However, because he shares custody of Dream with Blac Chyna and wants to remain involved in her life (and vice versa), it makes sense that they would come up with an arrangement where she is guaranteed some financial support no matter what.
This was probably achieved through a private agreement they reached before filing their divorce papers. So while we don’t know how much money she’ll be getting every month, we do know that it won’t be enough for her to quit her job as an Instagram model altogether—which is exactly what she did after their divorce was finalized on Dec.
15, 2018. It seems like she simply agreed to give him 50 percent of her earnings during their marriage and now that they’re divorced, those funds are likely going straight into a bank account controlled by Rob so he can keep supporting Dream until they figure out a new plan.
A new plan may include more joint custody arrangements similar to what they had before but without any set child support amount being paid each month. If that’s true, then why didn’t Chyna just agree to let him continue paying whatever amount he wanted?
Well, unfortunately, I can only speculate here since I wasn’t present when negotiations took place and haven’t spoken directly with either party regarding why she refused such an offer. I guess that she saw it as an insult.
Not only does he want to control everything about her life, including how much money she has access to and what she does with it, but he expects her to take handouts from him even though she has proven time and time again that she’s capable of supporting herself.
And if you think about it, there isn’t anything wrong with wanting full control over your finances. Especially if you have a history of being cheated on or taken advantage of in relationships! What do you think happened behind closed doors?
Do you think Rob tried offering Chyna any kind of financial help whatsoever? Do you think Blac Chyna could have handled things differently? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
