Requirements of the Scheme:
This scheme has played a transformative role in reviving domestic manufacturing by encouraging companies to manufacture locally. The introduction of the PLI scheme, simplified labour laws, and land reforms has made manufacturing more efficient and competitive. It provides financial support, easy access to credit, and encouragement for innovation.
MSMEs, which form the backbone of the Indian economy, get funding, marketing support, and technical expertise. The emphasis on “Make in India” under Atmanirbhar Bharat ensures that more products are manufactured domestically and exported globally. This has reduced dependence on imports and created employment opportunities in urban and semi-urban areas.
Important Note
The Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan is a transformational initiative that aims to transform India into a self-reliant, globally competitive economy. India is moving towards economic independence by promoting local industries, entrepreneurship, and digital innovation. To fully realise this goal, a combined effort of businesses, entrepreneurs, and citizens is required to build a strong and resilient India.
